Chiefs' Hoping To Move On From Seahawks Loss This Sunday Vs Broncos
Oct 28, 2026 6:00 PM

The Kansas City Chiefs offense struggled mightily against the reigning Super Bowl Champs and are looking to forget about the loss against their division rival, the Denver Broncos.

The Kansas City Chiefs had one of the worst losses in the Patrick Mahomes era last Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.

Is it time to hit the panic button? Our hosts say absolutely not.

Golden J opens up this episode of the show discussing the Week 7 blowout at the hands of the defending Super Bowl Champions, in which the Chiefs only scored one field goal, losing 20-3.

There wasn't much to write home about from Kansas City's perspective, especially on the offensive side of the ball.

The Chiefs obviously failed to reach the end zone, but even worse they couldn't make it to the red zone. Kansas City's kicker Harrison Butker went a measly 1/3 on FA attempts, with his only make being 50 yards. As Golden J puts it, the blame shouldn't fall on his shoulders when the team can't get close to the end zone for him to have an easier kick.

However, after the recording, news broke that Kansas City signed K Justin Tucker to its practice squad, which could signal that Butker is on his way out.

After all, the Chiefs are still the top seed in the AFC West and sit at 5-1, with the Minnesota Vikings the only undefeated team remaining in the NFL.

Moving on to Week 8, the Chiefs are headed to Mile High Stadium to take on a division rival, the Denver Broncos.

The Broncos are sitting at 5-2 and second in the conference, right behind Kansas City. After Sunday's matchup, the Chiefs could either extend their lead in the division or be tied with Denver, so it's a must-watch matchup.

Golden J speaks on what's happening in Denver this season ahead of Sunday's matchup, specifically mentioning the concerns around their QB, Bo Nix.

His play this season doesn't have our hosts concerned about Denver's offense and the Chiefs are already 1-0 against the Broncos this season following a 31-10 win in Week 1.

Denver's defense is solid, though, so the Chiefs need to play monumentally better than they did against Seattle if they'd like to have a chance at winning this game.

As mentioned above, Kansas City handed Denver its first loss of the season in a 31-10 rout of its foe, but the season was still incredibly young.

Since then, the Broncos have won against some of the league's best -- including the Seahawks in Week 6. Denver has also changed their offensive game plan, giving head coach Sean Payton more play-calling responsibility.
