INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Indianapolis Colts continue to trend in the right direction in terms of their injuries ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Arizona Cardinals.

For the second consecutive day, starting wide receiver and top deep threat Alec Pierce was able to practice in full, but he remains in the concussion protocol. He also practiced in full last Wednesday and Thursday before sitting out Friday and ultimately Sunday's game. It would be a positive sign if he is able to practice again this Friday, before hopefully being cleared out of the protocol by an independent neurologist.

The Cardinals continue to be without starting quarterback Kyler Murray, who suffered a foot injury in last Sunday's game. Starting defensive lineman Darius Robinson has also stayed on the sideline with a pec injury.

Here's how each team's health is shaping up ahead of Sunday afternoon's battle:

    COLTS

    WEDNESDAY

    • Did Not Participate — RB Tyler Goodson (groin), DE Tyquan Lewis (illness), CB Kenny Moore II (Achilles), OT Braden Smith (rest)
    • Full Participant — WR Alec Pierce (concussion), DT Grover Stewart (biceps)

    THURSDAY

    • Did Not Participate — RB Tyler Goodson (groin), CB Kenny Moore II (Achilles), DT Grover Stewart (biceps/rest)
    • Full Participant — DE Tyquan Lewis (illness), WR Alec Pierce (concussion), OT Braden Smith (rest)

Goodson remains out after suffering a groin injury two weeks ago against the Los Angeles Rams. He did not return to that game and has not practiced since.

With Moore still not practicing, it obviously puts his status in doubt for this week. His backup, Mike Hilton, suffered a shoulder injury last week that landed him on the Practice Squad Injured Reserve list, so it would likely be Chris Lammons starting in the slot for the Colts this Sunday.

    CARDINALS

    WEDNESDAY

    • Did Not Participate — OT Kelvin Beachum (rest), QB Kyler Murray (foot), DT Darius Robinson (pectoral)
    • Limited Participant — G Evan Brown (hamstring), G Will Hernandez (knee), CB Will Johnson (groin), WR Zay Jones (knee), CB Max Melton (hamstring), LB Cody Simon (knee), OT Jonah Williams (foot), LB Mack Wilson (ankle)

    THURSDAY

    • Did Not Participate — QB Kyler Murray (foot), DT Darius Robinson (pectoral)
    • Limited Participant — G Evan Brown (hamstring), P Blake Gillikin (back), G Will Hernandez (knee), CB Will Johnson (groin), WR Zay Jones (knee), CB Max Melton (hamstring), LB Cody Simon (knee), OT Jonah Williams (foot), LB Mack Wilson (ankle)
    • Full Participant — OT Kelvin Beachum (rest)

Murray is the most significant development here as Arizona's starting quarterback and one of their top players. If he's unable to play, it'll be a familiar face starting against the Colts, former Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett, who was with the team from 2017-20.

Robinson missed last week's game with his pec injury, so it's something worth continuing to monitor.

The Colts and Cardinals play this Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis at 1:00 p.m. E.T. on FOX.
