The Indianapolis Colts have announced changes to their coaching staff for the 2026 season.

Indianapolis Colts cornerback Charvarius Ward Sr. may no longer be leaning toward retirement.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Indianapolis Colts survived the 2026 NFL coaching cycle, as key members of the coaching staff, such as Lou Anarumo, Jim Bob Cooter, and Alex Tanney, interviewed for other positions across the league, but ultimately returned to Indianapolis.

The team has now announced the changes they had to make to the coaching staff.

The biggest hire is Marion Hobby, who will replace Charlie Partridge as defensive line coach. Partridge spent 2024 and 2025 with the Colts but left this offseason to join Notre Dame's staff as its defensive line coach under coordinator Chris Ash. Hobby is a 30-year college and pro coaching veteran who was most recently with the University of Tennessee and the University of Arkansas. Hobby was Anarumo's defensive line coach with the Cincinnati Bengals from 2021-24.

Aditya Krishnan is the new game management coordinator after replacing Charlie Gelman, who returns to the Baltimore Ravens as their Game Management Coordinator and defensive assistant. Gelman spent three seasons in Indianapolis as a football analyst/game management specialist, previously with the Ravens from 2021-23 as a scouting analytics intern, coaching research intern, and football analyst. Krishnan's role likely will be to work with head coach Shane Steichen and the coaching staff on gameday strategy and in-game scenarios.

Tyrell Brown is a new strength & conditioning assistant who has been in college and pro circles since 2017. He was most recently with the Dallas Cowboys as a strength and conditioning fellow during the 2025 offseason, while also serving as assistant director of human performance at TCU from 2022-26.

Dillon Doyle and Jeremy Bruce join as defensive quality control coaches. Doyle's older brother, Declan, is the new offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens. Dillon was with the Buffalo Bills in 2025 as a seasonal intern coach. Bruce has a wealth of experience coaching defensive front sevens at the college level, most recently as the UNLV outside linebackers coach.

Mikey Blazejowski has been promoted to performance science analyst after serving as the Colts' strength & conditioning assistant/performance science associate from 2024-25, assistant sports science/analytics in 2023, and sports performance intern in 2022.

Kalon Humphries has been the Colts' Tony Dungy Defensive Coaching Fellow since 2024 and has now been upgraded to assistant defensive line coach under Hobby. Diego Ortiz was the Dungy Offensive Fellow since 2024 and is now an offensive quality control coach. Brent Stockstill joins Ortiz as an offensive quality control coach after being a defensive assistant with the Colts since 2024.

Isabel Diaz retains her spot as the Harriet P. Irsay Coaching Fellow, marking her fourth year in the role.
