Pickens and Lamb have been a dynamic duo since George came to Dallas, and Dak detailed why the pair have been stellar as a receiving force.
Ever since the Dallas Cowboys traded for George Pickens last offseason, the relationship he's had with CeeDee Lamb has been fruitful.
With many initially uneasy over the move given Pickens' talent, some thought that Lamb could be a little irked at the franchise getting a receiver of George's caliber...but it was the opposite.
Having made it known early how close they are, Lamb and Pickens have been seen together off the field countless times, as their bond grows stronger with each passing day.
Not only that, but their work on the field is also elite, with both surpassing 1,000 yards, and many see them as the best receiver duo in football.
But that doesn't just "happen," and we have seen many times before a top player goes to another team and it just doesn't work, for whatever reason.
However, Pickens, with Lamb on offense, does.
And Dak Prescott, who was on the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams, revealed why Pickens and Lamb work so well together on the field.
"Just their personalities, they're truly unselfish," Prescott said. "They truly want the other guy to have just as much success as each of them has individually, they're cheering each other on. They love to have fun, they love to compete, and I think just if you love the game of football and love to compete, the rest takes care of itself.
"We're fortunate to have two guys like that who can put their egos to the side. You see them cheer not only for each other, but for the other guys as well. Even watching them go in there and block, they understand the team, the offense that we can have, and they want to make sure that they're doing everything they can."
With Lamb having a "down" year, and Pickens the best of his career, the reason why many are so bullish on Dallas in 2026, not only because of the defensive improvements, but also because the offense should be elite again.
And why? Because of CeeDee and George.
Given how potent the pair are together, plus the Cowboys' run game, it looms as a tall order to stop everyone.
We saw last season teams double Lamb to take him away, but that allowed Pickens to have one-on-ones, and he feasted. It was truly pick-your-poison.
Two top-line receivers for Prescott to throw to, and neither is worried about how many balls they get each week; they just want success for one another.
And it is that unselfish attitude that is powering one of the best receiver duos in football in one of the best offenses in the league.
