The Miami Dolphins are set to host USC's Makai Lemon on a visit.

The Miami Dolphins are in a prime position at No. 11 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft to select a would-be plug-and-play prospect that can elevate the team. While they have been mocked to select everything from tight end to offensive line and wide receiver, there is one clear selection the team is honing in on.

As part of general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan's drafting process, the Dolphins will host players to get their sense of character and fit with the team. That said, Miami is set to bring in one of the highest-rated receivers: USC's Makai Lemon.

Per Simon Clancy, the Dolphins are set to host Lemon on a 30 visit, which is where teams can bring in 30 prospects ahead of the draft to interview and test them.

Sitting at No. 11, the Dolphins would be in a prime position to draft Lemon, barring any unforeseen trades up from competing teams to land the Trojan's prospect.

Lemon finished his time at USC with 2,008 yards, 14 touchdowns, and a 14.7 yards per catch average.

The young receiver comes in at 5-foot-11, 192 pounds, and has been compared to Detroit Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown. While Lemon is not the big body receiver the Dolphins need, he could be the slot receiver with dynamic hands that can be utilized in a big way next to Jaylen Waddle.

Miami made it a point to upgrade the wide receiver room with the likes of Tutu Atwell, Jalen Tolbert, and more. Tolbert is more the contested catch and bigger body the team needs, but his low production may not spell a star in the making.

The Dolphins have been focused on speed as opposed to size since the Mike McDaniel era took over, which is why it wouldn't make sense for Miami to want to draft Lemon. However, he is still a high-level prospect that would match well with Malik Willis.

Speed is never a bad thing, but the Dolphins would need to balance that out with finding a bigger body similar to Tolbert.

Lemon has been mocked to plenty of teams like the Los Angeles Rams at No. 13 and the Baltimore Ravens at No. 14. However, if the Dolphins are enamored with the USC prospect, they may choose to start their receiver rebuild early.

Lemon has the ball skills that would elevate any offense, and though he is smaller in size, he could become a yards after the catch monster that would turn the Dolphins offense back into what it was with Waddle and Tyreek Hill.
