The Miami Dolphins have been busy in free agency, and there are three players who may be standouts in 2026.

Due to cap constraints, the Miami Dolphins have not been able to make many splash signings, but that was likely not going to be the case for the team anyway. General manager Jon-Eric Sullivan has preached rebuilding through the draft, and that will be the case in 2026.

That said, the Dolphins have brought in a plethora of low-cost, potentially high-reward players.

On both sides of the ball, the Miami front office has been rounding out defensive and offensive players on special teams, and those who may take on starting roles. That said, there are three players who could be standout signings in 2026.

Jamaree Sayler - OL

The Dolphins need some significant upgrades on the offensive line, and landing former Los Angeles Chargers offensive lineman Jamaree Sayler may be one of the best options for this team.

Sayler has played left tackle, right tackle, and right guard in 2025. His ability to move through the line will be a huge benefit.

Granted, the Dolphins may want Sayler to take one starting spot, but injuries are generally inevitable. Case in point, if Austin Jackson cannot stay healthy, Sayler could be the man to take on the right tackle spot.

Considering Sayler's experience across the line, he could be one of the most important signings in the 2026 free agency period.

Jalen Tolbert - WR

One of the biggest aspects of the Dolphins' offense that has been missing is a bigger receiver. Former head coach Mike McDaniel prioritized speed over size, and it worked out with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. However, Hill is now gone.

Waddle is a great all-around receiver, but Miami has needed a bigger body that can be used in more contested catch situations. Jalen Tolbert is 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds, and could be that player.

Tolbert's seven touchdowns in 2024 prove that he can be a red zone option for Malik Willis, and the pair have some familiarity with one another back from their time at the 2022 Reese's Senior Bowl.

David Ojabo - LB

A steep injury history has kept David Ojabo from truly rising as a pass rusher, but his 4.5 sacks through minimal action should offer some confidence that he can rise to the occasion.

Ojabo comes from a Ravens team that preaches and practices physical football. If he can remain healthy, he could become a force on the Dolphins' defense.

Ojabo is also only 25 years old and should match up well with Chop Robinson. There will need to be more defensive firepower added in the pass rush department, but the former Ravens linebacker could be a key element if he can keep himself on the field.
