A look at the state of the Miami Dolphins' tight end room ahead of training camp.
The Miami Dolphins' tight end room could be a unit that needs some sizable upgrades, after the team lost Jonnu Smith and Darren Waller over the past two seasons. However, they may have also found a gem in Greg Dulcich, who is a main target for Malik Willis.
That said, it would not be the least bit shocking if the Dolphins were to add more tight end talent through training camp. Waller may not want to return, but he could still be a viable option if the team were to want to reach out to him between now and training camp.
Here is a look at the tight end room ahead of training camp.
Dolphins Tight Ends on the Roster
Greg Dulcich
Greg Dulcich was added to the Dolphins roster in 2025 from the Denver Broncos practice squad. After being a later addition to the active roster, he began to show some skills.
Dulcich secured 335 yards and one touchdown through 10 games, but his effort led to a one-year deal worth up to $3.25 million to return.
Will Kacmarek
Will Kacmarek was taken in the third round out of Ohio State and was viewed as the consensus top blocking tight end in college. His addition could be used plenty in the run game and blocking assignments.
Seydou Traore
Seydou Traore is an international pathway player who was drafted by the Dolphins in the fifth round of the draft. He has picked up 1,482 yards and 10 touchdowns through his collegiate career.
Ben Sims
Ben Sims played with the Green Bay Packers previously, which makes sense as to why he was signed. He has compiled 93 yards and one touchdown through three seasons.
Cole Turner
Cole Turner has spent time with the Washington Commanders and the Tennessee Titans before signing a future/reserves contract with the Dolphins.
Biggest Tight End Questions
Is Greg Dulcich enough firepower for the tight end room? There is some wiggle room for the Dolphins' current cap, and they may need to explore additional options.
Will the rookies step up? Kacmarek may be a strong blocker, but he will need to step up in a big way to ensure his draft position was well worth it.
Will any other tight end besides Dulcich put together some strong chemistry with Willis? There needs to be mroe going on in the room than just Dulcich, as the unit could become one-dimensional if that were to occur.
