The Philadelphia Eagles could go after an intriguing wide receiver target.

The Philadelphia Eagles are entering Week 5 of the NFL season with a lot to prove following a tough loss last season.

Philadelphia has now lost two games in a row, with the offense completely spiraling out of control. This has been a problem for this team, especially with injuries hitting the Eagles' star players.

Both star running back Saquon Barkley and star wide receiver DeVonta Smith are dealing with hamstring injuries, adding insult to injury. The status for each remains up in the air for Week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, giving some concern for this team.

The Eagles can't afford to keep dropping games if they want to reach the Super Bowl goals that they set out early in the year. But Philadelphia just has to figure out a way to get through it all right now.

With the Eagles' current injury situation, the team may elect to go out to acquire more talent for the offense. Philadelphia has never been shy about trying to solve problems, and that should be expected to happen again this season.

NFL analyst Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report put together a list of potential players who could be traded this year. Among them was veteran wide receiver Jerry Jeudy of the Cleveland Browns, and he was mentioned as a possible candidate for the Eagles.

Jeudy is likely to be traded at the deadline this year after falling down the Browns' game plan each week. Cleveland will be looking to move the veteran wide receiver, and the Eagles should take advantage of the situation.

Adding Jeudy to this offense next to Smith could give Hurts more to work with, adding firepower to the unit. While he's been fairly cold with the Browns of late, that is more on him being out of the schemes, rather than his talent.

Jeudy isn't far removed from a 1,000-yard season with the Browns, and he could bring this type of production to the Eagles. Since Philadelphia never fully replaced A.J. Brown over the offseason, Jeudy could come in to be the No. 2 option behind Smith in the passing game.

Overall, the Eagles may want to do something to address the offensive problems, and Jeudy could be one of the better options that they could get right now. Cleveland may sell low on him, and Philadelphia could add a former Pro-Bowl talent for cheap.
