It was another tough outing for the Eagles' signal-caller.

The Philadelphia Eagles dropped another game this week, seeing their losing streak increase to six games.

Philadelphia lost 27-10 on Sunday Night Football to the Washington Commanders, seeing their record drop to 2-6 on the year. The Eagles took a 10-0 lead in the game, but the team couldn't hold the advantage on the road.

Starting quarterback Jalen Hurts remains out due to an ongoing blood clot issue, and he will be out for the rest of the season. Injuries have hurt the Eagles this year, leading to the problems on the field.

Backup quarterback Tanner McKee started the game again for this team, with him struggling to push the ball down the field. McKee looked lost in different parts of the game, leading to another dropped game for the Eagles.

In the loss, McKee finished by throwing for 212 yards with one interception and a fumble lost. The veteran also had four carries for 25 yards on the ground, showing some sense of being a dual-threat quarterback.

Overall, it was another poor game for the signal-caller, and the Eagles' offense couldn't do much of anything. Due to his performance, McKee earned a letter grade of "F" from NFL analyst Brent Sobleski of Bleacher Report.

McKee didn't look comfortable for most of the night, with the Commanders' defense pressuring him throughout. This was especially true on the right side of the line, with rookie Markel Bell getting targeted all game long.

Bell took over for longtime veteran Lane Johnson, who abruptly retired earlier this season, leaving the Eagles in a rough spot. Washington made sure to go after Bell throughout the game, and it made life very tough on McKee.

Since McKee took over for Hurts, the Eagles offense has been in a free fall, which isn't all on the quarterback. Philadelphia has dealt with multiple injuries to players, with McKee trying to do what he can with whomever is out on the field.

But the Eagles rank 26th or worse in points per game, passer rating, yards per attempt, yards per game, and points per possession. Philadelphia also ranks dead last in the NFL in yards per play, showing a clear struggle on the offensive side of the ball.

This team will try to bounce back next week against the New York Giants, hoping to end the long losing streak. Philadelphia will be at home for the game, but New York is currently in first place in the NFC East.
