From record-shattering 70-yard bombs to near-perfect efficiency, Jacksonville’s third-year kicker is redefining field position and providing an elite scoring edge with his cannon for a leg.

In just two seasons kicker Cam Little has become one of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ most consistent scoring weapons. Some have even argued Little is a cheat code with his bulls-eye accuracy and booming leg.

Little is both deadly accurate and has a cannon for a right leg when it comes to field goals. For his career he has missed just six attempts (57-of-63) and is 13-of-16 on attempts 50 yards or more. The former Arkansas Razorback not only registered the NFL record for the longest field goal make (68 yards) against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 9, he also kicked the second-longest field goal make (67 yards) in Week 18 against the Tennessee Titans. In the 2025 preseason Little put his NFL records to shame when he belted a 70-yard field goal right before halftime against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

While Little gives the Jaguars’ offense an above-average chance at scoring points anywhere near the 50-yard-line, he has been an assassin on extra point attempts.

Since the NFL moved the extra point from the 2-yard-line to the 15-yard-line (from a 20-yard attempt to a 33-yard attempt), kickers have converted between 94 and 95 percent of point after touchdown attempts (PAT). Little has converted 98 percent of his PATs in his career, missing just once in two seasons (50-of-51).

His lone miss came in Week 6 in a 20-12 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. After a perfect 27-of-27 in his rookie season, Little opened the 2025 season going 13-of-13—a streak of 40 consecutive extra point makes—before his miss.

In the loss to the Seahawks, the Jaguars opened the scoring on a Trevor Lawrence 21-yard touchdown pass to Brian Thomas Jr. at the end of the first quarter, but Little missed the extra point. After giving up a Seahawks’ field goal and touchdown in the second quarter and trailing 10-6, the Jaguars drove to the Seattle 32-yard-line and settled for a 50-yard field goal attempt. Little then pushed the kick to the right.

Jacksonville went on to lose after scoring just one more touchdown that included a failed two-point conversion.

After the game head coach Liam Coen was asked about the confidence he had in his kicker.

“The field goal, we didn’t help him. We took a sack on the prior play that knocked it back eight or nine yards,” Coen said. “He knows he’s got to make the kicks and he is as hard on himself as anybody. I still have a lot of trust and confidence in Cam. I think we just have to go make some of these kicks in real live games.”

Little then rewarded his coach’s confidence by hitting 20-of-21 of his field goals—including seven more than 50 yards—and converting 37-of-37 of his extra points to end the regular season. He extended his PAT streak back to 40 consecutive makes by going 3-of-3 in the playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Will Lutz of the Denver Broncos holds the current active streak of most extra points made in a row at 98 and counting.
