Geno Smith of the New York Jets could have a tough matchup this weekend against the Cleveland Browns.

The New York Jets have a tall task ahead of them this weekend, facing off against the Cleveland Browns at home.

New York comes in having lost three games, while the Browns are on a three-game streak. The Jets are also dealing with injuries to a few key players, making life even tougher for them entering the contest.

Before the game gets started, ESPN has looked at some potential stat lines and fantasy numbers for players. Jets quarterback Geno Smith was among the players, with ESPN giving him a less-than-favorable prediction.

In these projections, Smith has been given the expectation to throw for 232 yards with one touchdown and one interception. On the ground, Smith was predicted to rush for 12 yards on three carries, which wouldn't be a strong stat line for him.

If this prediction were to hold, it would mean that Smith would finally be throwing an interception on the season. Smith has gone through the first four games without doing so, which has been an impressive trend for the veteran quarterback.

Coming into the season, there were real concerns about Smith and his turnovers after he threw 17 interceptions with the Las Vegas Raiders a year ago. But the veteran has been able to take control of the offense, limiting takeaways for the Jets.

For the year, Smith has thrown for 902 yards with five touchdowns, leading this offense at least so far. Against the Browns, Smith will look to keep this interception-less streak going strong.

With the Jets dealing with injuries heading into the week, Smith is going to be counted on even more so. But if these projections are any indication, it could be another tough game for the Jets offensive attack.

New York is going to have to figure out a way to overcome the injury problems, especially after a tough Browns defensive front. Cleveland has been excellent at generating pressure this season, while the Jets have been one of the worst teams in defending against this.

For the Jets to avoid falling to 1-4 on the season, the offensive line is going to have to step up this week against the Browns. If they can't, it could be a long day for New York, with the team likely to be handed another loss on the season.

Kickoff for the game between the Jets and Browns is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. Et from MetLife Stadium.
