The Green Bay Packers matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers may not be as easy as some think.

The Green Bay Packers will be facing off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week, looking to get themselves back to a .500 record.

Coming off a poor showing against the Atlanta Falcons a week ago, the Packers' 2026 season hasn't started in the manner that the team would have liked to see. Green Bay's offense has been tough to watch, with the offensive line struggling heavily this year.

This has caused problems for quarterback Jordan Love, seeing him run for his life. The Packers offensive line has allowed the quickest average time of pressure, coming at 2.29, and this has seen the running game be basically non-existent.

Green Bay has only managed 146 rushing yards through the first three games of the season, and this isn't going to get the job done. But coming into this week, the Packers will be facing off against a rookie quarterback, with Tampa Bay starter Baker Mayfield out due to injury.

Rookie Jalon Daniels will be taking over for Mayfield, making his first career start in the NFL. This should give the Packers a more favorable situation, but this team can't assume anything, and Daniels does have the talent to make life tough for this defense.

Most people expect the Packers to turn things around this week, but there are some who believe Tampa Bay can pull off the win. Experts Jeremy Bergman, Brooke Cersosimo, Gennaro Filice, Bobby Kownack, and Dan Parr of NFL.com predicted the game between the two teams.

Three out of the five took Green Bay to bounce back, but there were some cautions for the Packers. Kownack warned the Packers not to overlook Daniels or the Buccaneers, and that the offensive line could be a real problem.

And given where the Packers are entering this game against Tampa Bay, Green Bay can't afford to come in with any sort of off mindset. The Packers want to be competing for Super Bowl titles, and so far, this team has looked far from a contender.

But there is still a lot of the season left to go, and if the group can get a win against the Buccaneers, it could create some momentum for the rest of the season. After the game against Tampa Bay, the Packers will be facing off against the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys, making this week's contest almost a must-win.

Kickoff for the Packers and Buccaneers will take place at 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET from Tampa Bay.
