The Green Bay Packers are set to host this small-school wide receiver for a top-30 visit this week ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Green Bay Packers, despite not possessing a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, have a prime opportunity to land multiple young difference-makers before next season.

After trading for star pass rusher Micah Parsons before the 2025 season, the organization now holds eight picks in this year's draft. This includes two picks on day two and an additional fifth-round pick from trading wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks. Luckily for general manager Brian Gutekunst and the front office, there are plenty of terrific options for the Packers in the middle rounds, such as Georgia State wide receiver Ted Hurst.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Hurst is set to take a top-30 visit to Green Bay prior to the upcoming draft.

Could the Packers Select Hurst in the 2026 NFL Draft?

Hurst, after putting up impressive numbers throughout his two seasons at Georgia State, has quickly become one of the most underrated prospects in this year's class. In 2024, the physical wideout recorded 961 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on 56 receptions, which caught the attention of many NFL scouts leading up to the 2025 season. Hurst continued to improve in his final year with the Panthers, tallying 1,004 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 71 catches.

Standing at 6-foot-4, 206 lbs., Hurst has a rare blend of size and speed that allows him to be a dominant pass catcher at all three levels of the field. During this year's NFL Combine, the former Georgia State standout boosted his draft stock, as he ran a blazing 4.42 40-yard dash and posted a 36.5-inch vertical.

In a class that contains a slew of wide receiver prospects, Hurst's strong athletic traits allow him to stick out amongst the rest of his peers.

With both Wicks and 2022 fourth-round pick Romeo Doubs departure from the organization this offseason, it's clear that the Packers could look to address the position once again in the 2026 NFL Draft. Outside of 2025 first-round pick Matthew Golden and veterans Christian Watson and Jayden Reed, Green Bay's wide receiver corps could use extra depth, making Hurst an intriguing option.

If the Packers were to select Hurst, Gutekunst would likely have to use the No. 52 pick on the FBS receiver, as he is currently projected to be a second-round pick in the upcoming draft.
