Micah Parsons' return to practice headlines the Green Bay Packers' injury list.

Of the nine Green Bay Packers players to appear on the Week 9 injury report, none has more hype surrounding them than Micah Parsons.

No, Parsons will not be playing on Sunday, Nov. 8, against the New England Patriots.

No, Parsons likely will not be back in time for a huge NFC North showdown on Sunday, Nov. 15, against the Minnesota Vikings.

That said, Parsons has returned to practice, and that's all that matters.

Currently in his 21-day practice window, the wheels are in motion for his expected season debut on Thanksgiving Eve against the Los Angeles Rams.

Of course, GB still has a few games to focus on before getting to that point, and it all starts in Week 9 against the Patriots.

Nine Packers appear on initial injury report

Parsons was listed as a limited participant due to a knee injury, but he was far from the only Packers player listed.

Both he and Chris Brooks are in their 21-day practice windows. Brooks was also listed as limited, as he's been dealing with an ankle injury.

Other than those two, there were three other limited participants while four did not participate entirely.

As of Wednesday, Nov. 4, the following players did not participate:

  • Linebacker Zaire Franklin
  • Offensive guard/tackle Travis Glover
  • Offensive guard/center Sean Rhyan
  • Tight end Josh Whyle

Franklin is dealing with a shin injury, Glover is dealing with a knee injury, Rhyan has issues with his ankle, and Whyle rounds things out with a concussion.

In terms of limited participants, other than Brooks and Parsons, the following players popped up on the first injury report:

  • Offensive guard Aaron Banks
  • Cornerback Keisean Nixon
  • Wide receiver Christian Watson

Banks joins the injured knee club alongside Glover and Parsons, while Nixon's groin injury could be catastrophic for the team.

At this point in time, it doesn't seem like Nixon will be ruled out for Week 9, but it's definitely something to monitor.

Last but not least is none other than Watson, the man who had a WWE-style return from an ambulance on Thursday Night Football.

It comes as no surprise that Watson's name is on this list, especially knowing that he was coughing up blood after he broke a rib.

Watson, similar to Nixon, should be good to go against the Patriots, but in no way do the Packers want to make him have a tougher week than he needs to.
