The Green Bay Packers made a few moves across the roster following a win over the Chicago Bears this weekend.

The Green Bay Packers were able to win their second straight game, taking down the rival Chicago Bears in the process.

From the opening kick, Green Bay showed its muscle, dominating the Bears all over the field. The Packers now sit with a record of 3-2 on the season, with the team slowly coming together after a rough start to the year.

But after the win over the Bears, the Packers have made a few moves across the roster. Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst announced the moves made by Green Bay on Tuesday.

The Packers signed cornerback Elijah Culp to the practice squad, while releasing guard Josh Gesky from the practice squad. This move was made to add more depth to a defense that has seen multiple injuries take place.

Culp was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Arizona Cardinals over the summer. The cornerback is a rookie out of James Madison University, and he was released by the team after training camp.

The rookie has spent time with the Indianapolis Colts practice squad this year, being with the team for a week. But Culp hasn't gotten into a regular season game this season yet.

Coming from spending time in Arizona, Culp got to play under Cardinals coach Mike LaFleur, the younger brother of Packers head coach Matt LaFleur. The defensive schemes are very similar between the two sides, so there could be some familiarity whenever he practices.

It remains to be seen if Culp will get into a game or be called up, but the Packers now have some extra depth to use.

The Packers have been dealing with all sorts of injuries on defense, with the team losing multiple players to season-ending issues in the last few weeks. Green Bay has been looking for ways to navigate this, and the front office is going to have to figure out something to stop the bleeding.

Green Bay's 2026 season hasn't gotten off to the start that they were hoping for, but over the last two weeks, something has clicked a little. The Packers have found some life in their last two wins, with the group finally looking like how many expected them too coming into the year.

The Packers will be getting ready for a big game this weekend against the Dallas Cowboys at home, giving them another chance to keep building for the season. The game will be played on Sunday Night Football, giving each side an opportunity to win in primetime.
