The Green Bay Packers have finally found their footing.

The Green Bay Packers were able to come away with another win this past week, taking down the Carolina Panthers on Thursday Night Football.

Green Bay overcame some early mistakes to grab the win, moving their record to 5-3 on the season. The Packers' offense was a little up and down this year, but the unit was able to do just enough to power home the victory.

In the game against Carolina, the defense came to play, holding the strong passing game of the Panthers down all night. Green Bay has been playing much better of late, with things starting to come together for this team.

In the new edition of NFL Power Rankings from Bleacher Report, the Packers moved up a few spots from last week, following the win over the Panthers. Green Bay came into the week ranked as the No. 14 team, and now they landed at No. 12 heading into Week 9.

After a shaky start to the season, the Packers have seemed to find their footing, with the group putting together consistent performances almost weekly. Even with the loss to the Detroit Lions two weeks ago, Green Bay looked good and there were multiple questionable calls from the refs.

Getting running back Josh Jacobs back in the lineup has made a big difference, with the Packers now having some sort of running game. Green Bay was extremely one-dimensional before Jacobs returned, putting so much pressure on quarterback Jordan Love to succeed.

The Packers should be getting star pass rusher Micah Parsons back in the coming week as well, giving the defense even more firepower to work with. Parsons has been working his way back from injury, and the Packers are very excited to get him back on the field soon.

Green Bay should now be considered as one of the more feared teams in the NFC for the rest of the way, even if the record doesn't show it. This Packers team is looking to go after a Super Bowl title this year, and the adversity from early on in the season should only help them.

Next up for the Packers is a tough game on the road against the New England Patriots, who have also played better of late. Green Bay will need to come in with their A-game to take down New England, especially with the contest being played in Foxborough.
