Green Bay Packers star Jordan Love earned a top-10 spot in FOX Sports' QB rankings.
Green Bay Packers star Jordan Love is ranked the eighth-best QB in the NFL by FOX Sports.
FOX Sports ranked Love ahead of Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers and Jared Goff of the Detroit Lions.
"I’m happy we have Love on this list," Henry McKenna of FOX Sports wrote. "I’m not sure that Love’s statistical breakthrough season is coming this year, given that he still doesn’t have a bona fide WR1. But I will say that his breakthrough season — from a decision-making and consistency standpoint — was last year. His game was clunky and filled with easy mistakes in 2024, perhaps because of pressure or perhaps because of injuries. But in 2025, he looked like the NFL’s best decision-maker, capable of managing games from throw to throw and drive to drive. He didn’t throw a million passes, but he generated the explosives when they presented themselves and largely took what the defense gave him. I’m expecting another impressive year on film and in advanced statistics, even if I can’t promise he’s a top-10 fantasy QB."
Love has turned into a solid QB under Matt LaFleur, but the Packers aren't paying Love to be solid. They are paying him to be a superstar.
After all, Love signed a massive four-year, $220 million contract with Green Bay in 2024.
Love finished last season with 3,381 passing yards and 23 passing touchdowns while completing 66.3% of his passes. The Packers went 9-7-1 and lost to the Chicago Bears in the wild-card round of the 2025 NFL playoffs.
Love enters this season with 11,535 passing yards and 83 passing touchdowns. He's 27-20-1 as a starter.
The Packers open the 2026 season against the Minnesota Vikings. It's time for Love to play like an MVP, especially since Micah Parsons will miss the start of the campaign while recovering from his ACL tear.
Green Bay is 1-3 in the playoffs since Love took over for future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers. Both Rodgers and Brett Favre won a Super Bowl with the Packers, so Love is under pressure to follow in their footsteps.
The Packers are 79–46–1 under LaFleur, including regular season and playoff games.
It will be fascinating to see how Green Bay does in 2026.
