The Green Bay Packers are being urged to land a player to help the defense.

The Green Bay Packers were able to get a big win over the Chicago Bears over the weekend, moving their record to 3-2 on the season.

Green Bay came out on fire in this game, dominating the Bears in all facets of the game to earn the victory. The Packers have started to look more like the team that people expected them to be after a slow start to the year.

But in the win, Green Bay lost another star defensive player to a season-ending injury, adding insult to injury. Star lineman Javon Hargrave suffered a torn Achilles, just a week after linebacker Edgerrin Cooper went out with the same injury.

This is a brutal loss for the Packers defensive unit, and the team may have take a look at ways to add to the roster. Green Bay has aspirations to make a Super Bowl run this season, but the journey just got a lot tougher due to the injuries.

The Packers are still without star pass rusher Micah Parsons, as he deals with the long recovery from a torn ACL that he suffered last season. Parsons could be coming back soon, but he remains on the PCP list.

Green Bay may look into adding some talent, giving this unit a boost for the rest of the season. NFL analyst Zachary Pereles of CBS Sports listed veteran defensive tackle A'Shawn Robinson of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a possible option to consider.

Robinson has been very good for the Buccaneers this year so far, but with how poor Tampa Bay has played, he he could be moved. For the season, Robinson has recorded 16 total tackles (one for loss), one interception, and one sack.

The veteran defensive tackle has been a major reason why Tampa Bay has allowed the second-fewest rushing yards in the NFL this season. His presence to any defensive line is clear, and the Packers could use him to bolster their unit.

Robinson is on a one=year contract, so the Packers wouldn't be taking on any long-term money if the fit doesn't work out. But if he did, Green Bay would get a strong run stopper, helping to ease the minds of the defense.

This could be a low-risk, potentially high-reward move for the Packers' front office to consider, and the price may not be too costly. Overall, Green Bay has to do something and Robinson could be one of the better options to consider this season.
