The Los Angeles Rams have made several roster moves, signing outside linebacker Darryl Peterson III to the active roster.

In the wake of the multitude of injuries the Los Angeles Rams have faced over the weekend, the team has made several roster moves.

Outside linebacker Darryl Peterson III has now been signed from the practice squad to the active roster. Taking his spot is nose tackle Jalen Hunt. Also, as was established, Kobie Turner has now officially been added to the IR.

The Rams suffered several devastating injuries after their Week 6 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Among them were wide receiver Davante Adams, kicker Blake Grupe, defensive tackle Poona Ford, and defensive lineman Kobie Turner.

Adams is out for six to 10 weeks with a ruptured hamstring, Grupe is out for the season with a torn ACL, Ford is also out for the season with a ruptured triceps, and Turner is now on IR due to a significant groin injury.

To make up for the loss of Grupe, the Rams brought in and signed veteran kicker Brandon McManus.

Now, it appears the team is attempting to see if they can bolster their defensive line depth with the addition of Hunt.

Hunt most recently played for the New England Patriots as a member of the practice squad. He was released on Sep. 3. Prior to that, he had been signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati.

During his two years at Cincinnati, Hunt played in 25 games, picking up 28 total tackles six tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks.

With two defensive linemen now out for multiple weeks, Hunt was brought in to act as some strong depth moving forward.

Additionally, tight end Terrance Ferguson remains out due to his ankle injury, and his return remains a major question.

Rams head coach Sean McVay has yet to speak about plans to fill out the roster moving forward, but there will definitely need to be some more movement on that front.

Los Angeles is set to face the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, with the hopes that the loss of four key players will not dampen the team's ability to rebound their season.

The Rams are now 2-4 and the hopes of winning the division shrink each week. That is not to say they cannot go on a run and win the division at the end of the season, but it will take some luck and stalwart play from the team.

Currently the San Francisco 49ers lead the way with a 6-0 record, and the Seattle Seahawks are in second at 3-3. Los Angeles needs a big win on Sunday if they are to find some hope for the division and the playoffs.
