A look at four Los Angeles Rams players who need to step up in Week 7 amid the team's multiple injuries.
The Los Angeles Rams might now be one of the most injured teams in the league, and their losses on both sides of the ball could impact them in a major way for Week 7.
Considering their losses due to injuries, the team has to band together to ensure they can bounce back and get an important win against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Here are four players who need to step up on Sunday.
4. Omar Speights
The linebacker room has taken a big hit with Nate Landman being out due to a concussion. With Landman out, Omar Speights will be the lead linebacker in the room.
Speights needs to be a force and set the tone for the middle of the field, which has been a weakness for the Rams in 2026. Eric Kendricks was elevated for the game, but Speights will be calling the shots.
Speights will need to come out to aid the pass rush while monitoring and stopping the tight end play from the Raiders and Brock Bowers.
3. Josh Wallace
The cornerback might also be hit if Trent McDuffie cannot make the game due to his groin injury. If that is the case, the Rams will likely look to Wallace to step up in a big way.
Wallace has shown some great skills thus far in 2026, and has one interception thus far. Even more impressive is the corner is only surrendering a 50 percent completion rate and 38.7 passer rating to opposing quarterbacks.
Wallace might need to step up in a big way regardless of McDuffie plays, as the starter could be on a pitch count depending on how his groin is feeling.
2. Kyren Williams
The run game has faced some drama as lead back Kyren Williams seemed to indicate he was unhappy with his production in Week 6. Those comments were taken out of context, but it is Williams that needs to prove he can still be impactful.
Williams needs to have another breakout game, and getting a strong run game going against the Raiders will only benefit the offense.
Williams can shake off his upset or non-upset feelings by having a strong performance.
1. Matthew Stafford
Matthew Stafford said he would take it upon himself to be the reason the team bands together and gets a win.
Stafford has been a bit inaccurate and unlike himself thus far this season. After throwing six interceptions in four games, he has calmed down with turnovers.
That has not helped Stafford be a bit more on time with his throws. He will also be without Davante Adams, who is now out for multiple weeks with a hamstring injury.
Puka Nacua is also potentially going to be out. Stafford will need to find new success with the passing game no matter the situational circumstances.
