The Baltimore Ravens continue to add depth to their offensive line with former Indianapolis Colts center Danny Pinter.

The Baltimore Ravens have continued to bring in offensive linemen to make up for the loss of Tyler Linderbaum. This time, the team has agreed to terms with former Indianapolis Colts center Danny Pinter.

Pinter appeared in all 17 games with the Colts in 2025, but only started one. Over the past five seasons, he has had 10 starts as a lineman. He also missed the 2023 season due to a season-ending broken ankle.

Similar to Jovaughn Gwyn and John Simpson, Pinter has been added to potentially take a guard position with Daniel Faalele potentially not returning. The former Colts lineman also plays center, but he may not be in line to replace Linderbaum.

The Ravens have a young upstart, Corey Bullock, to potentially be the starting center as well. However, there is the draft to consider, and general manager Eric DeCosta could be aiming to land a starting center then.

There is never a bad reason to add depth, but the Ravens still have questions at both guard and center. Simpson was brought back and has started all 17 games the past three seasons.

Simpson may be the favorite for the right guard position due to his ability to stay on the field. Then again, Pinter could be the player targeted for that role as well.

The issue with Pinter taking a starting role is his limited starts in the NFL. Only starting 10 games is a bit of a concern, but DeCosta is certainly trying to upgrade the line with potential backups and rotational players.

DeCosta has always favored landing players in the draft as opposed to taking big free agency swings. With the drama that unfolded in losing Linderbaum and the Maxx Crosby trade falling through, the Ravens may back off trying to land bigger players.

Top-rated offensive linemen are also tough to come by in free agency. Expect a lot more movement in the draft for the Ravens.

Baltimore has been mocked to Miami's Francis Mauigoa and Penn State's Vega Ioane, and either could be the kind of younger plug-and-play lineman the team needs. The issue is that neither is an experienced center.

Mauigoa and Ioane would likely also be expected to transition into the guard position, which presents more issues.

DeCosta did state the team would be looking into more linemen in the coming weeks, and Pinter is the latest addition, and may not be the last.
