A look at the current state of the Baltimore Ravens tight end room ahead of training camp.

The Baltimore Ravens may have lost Isaiah Likely and Patrick Ricard in free agency, but the team is still poised to have a strong tight end room.

Mark Andrews leads a room that is now bolstered by young talent, and he could find his way back to prominence while guiding the rookies to reach new heights.

Ravens Tight Ends on the Roster

Mark Andrews

Andrews is the leader of the pack, and the Ravens chose to offer him an extension in December. He signed a three-year, $39.3 million contract, which will keep him under contract through the 2028 season.

In 2025, Andrews brought in 422 yards and five touchdowns in what was a down year for the entire team and offense. He may have succeeded more with a healthy Lamar Jackson.

The veteran leader figures to have a bigger year in 2026.

Durham Smythe

Considering the addition of Declan Doyle as offensive coordinator and the need for a blocking tight end, former Chicago Bears tight end Durham Smythe was signed in free agency.

Smythe has shown he can catch the ball, as he brought in 366 yards in 2023 as a member of the Miami Dolphins. He is not a primary pass catcher, but the Ravens could be sneaky with him in 2026.

Matthew Hibner

SMU tight end Matthew Hibner was one of two players drafted by the Ravens, and could be the next man up to take over once Andrews calls it a career.

Hibner brought in 804 yards and eight touchdowns as a member of the Mustangs, and Doyle could find solid ways to utilize him. He will be battling it out for reps with his fellow rookie teammate.

Josh Cuevas

Josh Cuevas is the second tight end taken by the Rams, and played with Alabama in 2024 and 2025. He is the direct competition to Hibner, but could push for a bigger role due to his capabilities.

Cuevas had 625 yards and four touchdowns with the Crimson Tide, but he was also used plenty in the blocking game. With his potential dual-threat usage, he could leap over Hibner on the depth chart come Week 1.

Ty Pezza

Ty Pezza is an undrafted free agent who joined the Ravens out of Brown University. He will have a tough time making the 53-man roster, but could find a spot on the practice squad.

Biggest Tight End Questions

Andrews is a consummate pro, but can he return to prominence? He isn't getting any younger, and his down production in 2025 could be concerning, regardless of the offense struggling.

Which rookie will be utilized more? Hibner and Cuevas both have strengths, but whoever can block and catch will be featured so much more.
