Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was given strong praise entering Week 6.

The Pittsburgh Steelers improved their record to 3-2 on the season last week, taking down the Indianapolis Colts at home.

The Steelers were able to win behind another strong effort from the offense, being led by veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers has looked like his old self at times this season, which has allowed the Pittsburgh offense to be much more explosive.

But entering Week 6 of the season, the Steelers are dealing with some injuries to the wide receiving core. This could impact the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, limiting what Pittsburgh can do.

However, with Rodgers under center, the Steelers feel very confident in their ability to come away with the win. Rodgers brings a level of stability to this team, and he has the group firing on all cylinders right now.

Coming into the game, Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles understands just how dangerous Rodgers can be against his team. The veteran coach heaped all sorts of praise on Rodgers when discussing the matchup.

Bowles acknowledged the difficulties in trying to game plan against the veteran signal-caller, calling attention to Rodgers' football IQ. Rodgers has made a career of being accurate with the football, and Bowles believes that this will again be a challenge for the Buccaneers to deal with.

If Rodgers is able to pick apart the Tampa Bay defense this week, it could give the Steelers a good chance to get the win. But the Buccaneers do have an opportunistic defense, and they could make life a little tough on Rodgers.

With the injuries to some of the wideouts on Pittsburgh, the team is going to have to scheme for Rodgers to get the ball out even quicker. Rodgers has done a good job at this over the course of the season, but it could be even more apparent this week.

Pittsburgh has yet to win a game on the road, with the team going 3-0 at home and 0-2 away from Acrisure Stadium. But going against a rookie quarterback could give the Steelers a chance to break this trend.

Tampa Bay will be starting rookie Jalon Daniels, with star Baker Mayfield still dealing with an ongoing injury. Pittsburgh will try to make Daniels' life very uncomfortable in this game, holding down the Buccaneers' offensive attack.

Kickoff between the Steelers and Buccaneers is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay.
