With that said, the Las Vegas Raiders have made the first half of today's contest against the Texans surprisingly competitive. This is not the most ideal development for a Houston team that's trying to extend its win streak to seven.
Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud and the offense has slumbered out of the gate, generating only 116 yards of total offense and with no scores. The only reasons why Houston went into halftime with a 13-7 lead was an early pick-six by cornerback Derek Stingley Jr., and a pair of 50+ yard field goals by kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn.
On the other side, Raiders tight end Brock Bowers caught his seventh touchdown pass of the year in the second quarter to put Las Vegas on the board with seven.
The Texans will receive the ball first in the second half.
