CJ Stroud, Texans far apart on new deal

Speculation surrounding the Houston Texans and their quarterback dilemma has been swirling for some time now. On Wednesday, CJ Stroud fed that fire with his own words. 

According to ESPN, the Texans and CJ Stroud are “nowhere close” on a contract extension, signaling uncertainty in Houston. Could the two sides be nearing an end?

When asked if he believes he deserves a new deal, Stroud said “I think I’ve held my bargain up.”
