Wan'Dale Robinson reveals how Brian Daboll's quick-hitting, matchup-exploiting offense will transform the Titans' playmaking potential.
The Tennessee Titans have their coaching staff set for 2026.
Robert Saleh will be the head coach, with Brian Daboll as the offensive coordinator and Gus Bradley as the defensive coordinator.
Daboll coached many of the players that the Titans brought in during free agency during his time as the head coach of the New York Giants. One of the biggest moves the Titans made in free agency came from the Giants in Wan'Dale Robinson.
Robinson was the leading receiver for the Giants, finishing with 1,014 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Cor'Dale Flott also came from the Giants and made the bold claim that Robinson is one of the top-five receivers in the NFL.
While that has yet to be seen, another question was recently answered by Robinson.
That question was how the offense would look under Daboll's guidance. Daboll has coached high-level quarterbacks before, working with Josh Allen with the Buffalo Bills when he was there as OC from 2018-2021.
Robinson has an advantage that none of the other Titans' receivers have. He is already familiar with the offense that Daboll ran at the Giants.
He gave fans an idea of what that would look like in 2026, per ESPN's Turron Davenport.
"It's big being in the offense for four years," Robinson said. "Dabe's finds the matchups and the QB gets the ball out quick. I found windows in zones and work well on choice routes."
It sounds like Robinson will be expected to make a lot of plays from behind the line of scrimmage as a YAC receiver. Getting the football out of the quarterback's hands is a recipe for success, especially since the Titans were in the top 10 for sacks allowed at 56.
Robinson had to take on a much bigger role with the Giants last season after Malik Nabers went down with a season-ending ACL tear, which made Robinson the main priority for opposing defenses.
Still, Robinson had a productive year for the Giants, even with three different quarterbacks starting for them under center at one point. Jaxson Dart, Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston started for them at different points.
With the Titans, Robinson should not get as much attention. Calvin Ridley and Elic Ayomanor are expected to start on the outside, with Robinson in the slot. Chimere Dike and Xavier Restrepo will be rotating in at the slot as well.
A fast release from the quarterback and choice routes are on the horizon for the Titans' offense, it seems.
