Carlee Otero Moves To No. 2 In Barrel Racing World Standings

Just as expected, the WPRA barrel racing world standings continue to experience plenty of movement. Most notably, Carlee Otero has jumped from No. 5 to No. 2 in the world, while Tricia Aldridge has made one of the biggest moves inside the Top 15.

Hayle Gibson-Stillwell remains firmly atop the standings with $182,604.68, giving her a lead of more than $12,000 over Otero. Otero's jump in the standings comes after a strong stretch of competition, with the Utah Days of '47 Rodeo and Farm-City Pro Rodeo among her recent highlights. Those performances helped push her season earnings to $170,481.20, moving her ahead of Kassie Mowry and into the No. 2 position.

Mowry now sits third with $166,951.84, followed closely by Emily Beisel at $166,819.24, and Hailey Kinsel at $165,933.78. With less than $5,000 separating Nos. 3 through 5, that portion of the leaderboard could easily look different when we head to Vegas in December.

Sydney Graham also made a jump in the standings, moving up to No. 6 with $128,131.32. Michelle Alley is right behind in the No. 7 spot with $127,175.97, followed by Cheyenne Frontier Days Champion Tayla Moeykens at No. 8, LaTricia Duke at No. 9, and Katelyn Scott rounding out the Top 10.

The Farm-City Pro Rodeo also provided a significant boost for Tricia Aldridge, who placed in both rounds and won the average with a two-run time of 34.01 seconds. Thanks to her strong showing, she added nearly $13,000 to her season earnings, officially climbing to No. 11 in the world with $95,883.62.

Lisa Lockhart moved into No. 12 as she looks to make history this year, while Megan McLeod-Sprague sits at No. 13. Austyn Tobey is No. 14 with $91,371.26, and Makenzie Mayes holds the final qualifying position at No. 15 with $91,347.06.
