John Crimber leads the PBR World Standings going into the World Finals, but many talented guys are right on his tail. Will Crimber accomplish his ultimate 2026 goal?
The name John Crimber has become known for big 90 points rides. The young phenom has been rewriting record books since the first time he climbed on a bull. In 2026, he is looking to add a gold buckle to that name as well.
John is the son of 10-time PBR World Finals qualifier and Florida Freedom Head Coach Paulo Crimber. Growing up, all eyes were on John because everyone knew he had the fire it took to become a great. He has done so in just a few short years on the Professional scene.
At the age of 18, Crimber finished number 2 in the World. He is a fun loving, energetic, talented kid, but when it's show time, he is all business. That same year, he won both the 2024 PBR Teams MVP and Teams Championship MVP. The very next year was the same story where he became the youngest ever two time Regular Season Live Legendary MVP.
May 7 - 17 in Fort Worth, Texas is the PBR World Finals, where Crimber will look to earn the gold.
Going into the finals, Crimber has a nice lead on the pack. The 20 year old Decatur Texas cowboy has 984.50 points with a season ride percentage of 57.14%. He has won just under $210,000.
Crimber's highest marked ride of the season was 93.95 points on Fire Zone in the Championship Round of the PBR Billings event. This was one of the big rides that contributed to his season lead.
Right behind Crimber in those standings is Australian man, Brady Fielder. Fielder is a 26 year old who has 815 points, putting him right in the World Title race as well. Right on Fielder's heels is the one and only Sage Kimzey. Kimzey comes into the finals with 687 points. He has stayed in the top few guys all season long, proving that though he is a veteran, and one of the older guys on the roster, he is still very capable and dangerous on the back of a bull.
Brazil's Leandro Zampollo sits in fourth with one of the highest ride percentages on the board. He has rode 62.5% of the bulls he has climbed on. This is an impressive statistic that will help him immensely at the World Finals where each guy will climb on up to 10 bulls. 608.5 points puts Zampollo right in the mix of things as well.
Every guy that has earned his spot to the finals has done so by a season of excellence, 8 seconds at a time. Though the John Crimber story has a lot of eyes, it is still anyone's game.
Crimber, the MVP is looking to add a huge milestone to his career and legacy. He is following in his father and coaches footsteps, with a gold buckle in his sights.
The World Finals will start at Cowtown Colesium May 7th through the 10th. Then May 14th-17th the action will continue right down the road at Dickies arena in Fort Worth.
