He was a player who was actually discussed with Barcelona in a possible swap deal when Dortmund and Barcelona were negotiating the transfer of Karim Adeyemi, but it went no further than touting the option. However, it would appear that Borussia Dortmund's interest in Roony Bardghji remains, and it would appear that the Swedish forward is not in Barcelona's immediate plans.

Mundo Deportivo reports that a large number of clubs across Europe are interested in Roony Bardghji this summer, as the player is keen to play regular football next season but doesn't wish to cut ties with the Spanish Giants completely.
The player himself reportedly would prefer a loan move to a club in Europe, rather than a permanent sale, but is evaluating all his options this summer. Bardghji still believes he has a role in Barcelona's future, despite the club signing Anthony Gordon and the imminent arrival of Karim Adeyemi.

Roony Bardghji was one of Europe's best prospects coming through at Danish side Copenhagen a year ago, but since his move to Barcelona, his game time has been limited, and this has stunted his development. Aged now 20 years old, this season is crucial for him as if he is to go on and reach the high potential that many believe he has, he needs to start playing regular first team football, something he isn't going to get at Barcelona.
This could be a top signing for Dortmund, who need a bit of young energy at the top of the pitch and with the Yellow Wall able to offer him more game time than Barcelona, it will certainly be a move Bardghji will be considering.
The only issue I see with this is the fact that Bardghji would prefer a loan move rather than a permanent departure, something that Dortmund may not be as keen on, given they will be looking for a permanent long-term replacement for Karim Adeyemi.
