The race for Felix Nmecha is heating up, and despite Borussia Dortmund's insistence on keeping him, the number of clubs interested is only growing.
Should Borussia Dortmund Sell Felix Nmecha This Summer for a Higher Price or Wait Until Next Summer and Lose Him For Less?
Felix Nmecha has been a massive talking point, especially in recent days, following his highly influential performance for Germany in their World Cup opener against Curacao.
This, as well as coming off the back of a successful individual season with Borussia Dortmund, has attracted the interest of clubs around Europe.
Furthermore, despite Borussia Dortmund reportedly, via BILD, putting a £120 million valuation on Felix Nmecha this summer, no other outlets are seemingly running with this theory, as they believe that Felix Nmecha could be bought from Borussia Dortmund for roughly £60-£70 million this summer.
Real Madrid
As previously reported, Real Madrid have been keeping a close eye on Felix Nmecha for some time, and Jose Mourinho has sounded the German international out as an addition to his squad, to help take Real Madrid back to the lofty heights and successes they are so accustomed to following a below-par season.

Sacking Arne Slot and hiring Andoni Iraola is a statement of intent from Liverpool, and their transfer business also indicates those same intentions.

However, whether that return is to Merseyside or not is still up for debate, as Liverpool is not the only club interested in bringing Felix Nmecha this summer. Manchester United are also interested in a deal for the German, as they look to build upon a strong end to last season under newly appointed permanent manager Michael Carrick.

It would now seem that the interest in Felix Nmecha is at an all-time high with multiple major European clubs after his signature. So this could potentially offer Borussia Dortmund the opportunity to start a ‘bidding war’ for the midfielder, and try to raise the price of the midfielder, in order to maximise profit.
On the other hand, Borussia Dortmund could stand firm, refute any approaches for the midfielder, but inevitably lose him via his release clause next summer and not get as much money as they could this summer.
So it depends on whether, firstly, any clubs actually submit an official offer and secondly, do Borussia Dortmund value an extra year of Felix Nmecha at the club more than the offer they receive? Regardless, this is certainly a transfer saga to keep an eye on its progression in the forthcoming weeks and months ahead.
