I think the defeat against Bayern was somewhat expected. Despite the improvements we've seen in recent weeks, Leipzig still look far from ready to compete with Europe's biggest teams.
There's some progress under Martín Demichelis, but the Bayern game was a reminder of how much work is still needed.
Now comes Real Madrid at the Bernabéu, and Leipzig simply cannot afford another humiliation. I'm not saying they have to win, but they need to show that they can compete at this level.
Another heavy defeat would put Demichelis' future under huge scrutiny once again, especially after the pressure he was already facing earlier this season.
Do you think Leipzig can bounce back against Real Madrid, or are we heading towards another difficult night?
