After Wednesday evening's important home victory over Pafos in the UEFA Champions League, Chelsea's attention turns back to domestic matters, with a game away to Crystal Palace on Sunday, kick-off at 14:00 GMT/09:00 ET.
This game will be Liam Rosenior's fifth game in charge of the team, but only his second in the Premier League. His maiden league game was a 2-0 win over fellow London side Brentford
Truth be told, it was not a great performance - nor in the win over Pafos - but it was an important three points, and there will be hope to do the same over Palace on Sunday. So, what can we expect from our hosts?
It does not feel far-fetched to say there may not be a better time to play Palace. Two weeks ago, they were knocked out of the FA Cup, as holders, by sixth-tier Macclesfield FC.
Then, captain Marc Guehi was sold to Manchester City, which was followed by manager Oliver Glasner confirming that he will leave the club at the end of his contract upon the conclusion of this season.
That's not all, however, as it has been widely reported that striker Jean-Philippe Mateta also wants to leave the club, with Juventus and Aston Villa amongst those linked. On the pitch, they are winless in 10, and have not won at home since November.
Some good news for Palace is that Ismaila Sarr should be available for the game, having been away with Senegal at AFCON. However, wing-back Daniel Munoz, who may well be their most important player, is still injured, as well as midfielder Daichi Kamada.
In the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge back in August, Glasner's side had both Guehi and Munoz in the starting XI, as well as Eberechi Eze, in what proved to be his final game for the club.
Although Spain international Yeremy Pino was signed to replace Eze, a replacement for Guehi has not yet been signed, and there is no clear replacement for Munoz in the XI.
The biggest threat will be Adam Wharton, who has developed a reputation for playing line-breaking passes and creating big chances with a killer ball. He will be looking to slip the likes of Pino and recent signing Brennan Johnson in, as well as finding Mateta - assuming a deal for the striker has not been done by the game.
Nevertheless, this is an absolutely huge opportunity for Chelsea. There can be no excuses to leave with anything other than the three points. A win could take Rosenior's side up to fourth in the league. They could also fall to 10th position with a defeat.
Possible Palace starting line-up: Henderson, Richards, Lacroix, Lerma, Devenny, Wharton, Hughes, Mitchell, Johnson, Pino, Mateta.
