Couhaib Driouech has successfully completed his medical with Rangers as his move from PSV Eindhoven edges closer. The forward is expected to sign a contract through 2030 once he completes the final formalities.
Couhaib Driouech is closing in on a move from PSV Eindhoven to Rangers after successfully passing his medical examination with the Scottish club.
According to transfer journalist Mounir Boualin, the 24-year-old forward completed his medical on Wednesday, bringing the transfer another step closer to completion.
Only the final contractual details remain to be settled. Once those formalities are completed, Driouech is expected to sign a contract with Rangers that will run until 2030.
The Moroccan international is also set to attend Rangers' upcoming match against Jagiellonia Białystok with his entourage, giving him an early opportunity to experience his prospective new surroundings.

Driouech joined PSV from Excelsior in the summer of 2024 and remained under contract with the Dutch champions until 2029.
However, he struggled to establish himself as a regular starter in Eindhoven. His departure will now bring an end to a spell in which he made 61 official appearances, scoring 12 goals and providing 10 assists.
Rangers had been pursuing the winger for several weeks, with PSV initially rejecting an opening proposal before the Scottish club returned to the negotiating table.
An agreement was subsequently reached in principle, with the transfer understood to be worth around €8.5 million to PSV.
Spanish side Celta de Vigo had also shown interest in Driouech and attempted to challenge Rangers for his signature. Ultimately, Rangers convinced the player to join them in Glasgow by presenting a sporting project and a role they envisaged for him.
El Ahmadi Highlights Pléa's Link-Up Play
Speaking on Dit Was Het Weekend on ESPN, El Ahmadi pointed to Pléa's ability to receive the ball and connect PSV's midfield with its attack.
“He is a pacey ball player, with whom you can play through. I see that with various other players, but not with them. The combination with Til and Saibari (now at Bayern Munich) was still fine, and then you had someone with Saibari with whom you can play through. But with Pepi and Til, I don't see that,” the former footballer said as relayed by PSV Inside.
Pléa's willingness to come towards the ball and participate in combinations could therefore give Peter Bosz another attacking option as the Frenchman gradually returns to full fitness.
More Minutes Expected
El Ahmadi also believes Pléa's role will grow once he is completely fit.
“A Pléa, once he is completely fit, will likely make more minutes. You could see that he was a guy who constantly wanted the ball. That's good for the midfield and for the wingers. They can then play a one-two. It looked good,” he said.
Pléa's 22-minute appearance was his first competitive outing for PSV in more than a year. His gradual return provides Bosz with another experienced attacking option alongside Ricardo Pepi, Guus Til and Ivan Perisic.
For now, the focus remains on building Pléa's match fitness. But his return against Fortuna has already offered an indication of the qualities he can bring to PSV once he is fully ready.
