Real Madrid has now confirmed the contract extension for another eight years before heading into the summer transfer window.
Real Madrid are now gearing up for a major rebuild going into the summer transfer window following the recent electoral victory of Florentino Perez.
Now it is time for the Los Blancos president to keep his promises and take the club forward with renewed intentions.
Getting the Whites back on track will certainly be the top priority for the club management as they finished a second straight season last month without winning any major trophy.
Certainly not a thing that is acceptable at a club of the stature of Los Blancos, and, seemingly, they are now looking to sort things out before heading into the summer transfer window and then starting their season.
By the looks of it, Perez is looking to set things up right from the start, as he named Jose Mourinho as the new manager of Madrid to solve their managerial problems since the departure of Carlo Ancelotti.
Within the span of two days, Los Blancos and Emirates secured a five-year sponsorship extension, with Emirates remaining the main sponsor of their football and basketball teams until 2031.
In just a day, Los Blancos have officially announced a new deal with Adidas for another eight years, which will expire in 2034.
The global sporting giants and Los Blancos now have one of the most successful partnerships in football history, as they first signed a contract back in 1980, and the German company has since delivered numerous iconic kits.
Los Blancos have won countless trophies while donning Adidas' trademark three-striped shirts, adding to the glory of both sides.
As quoted by the official Real Madrid page, Perez talked about the significance of the new deal, saying, "This agreement we seal today is the most important in the history of football. The strategic alliance between Real Madrid and adidas has helped us experience one of the most wonderful periods in our history over the past three decades. It has also served to continue nurturing this universal feeling that is madridismo."
Recently, the home kit for the new season was unveiled, and we saw mixed reactions from fans regarding the royal white shirt: this time, the three stripes will be painted in pink, with the collar and sleeve cuffs detailed in dark green.
It has also incorporated Adidas' latest technology to maximize airflow and keep players cool and comfortable, which will immensely help them concentrate solely on the game.
