Real Madrid has been following the highly rated German since last summer, as his current club has seemingly decided on a €50 million asking price for their star.

Real Madrid's transfer policy has seen a major shift in recent years, as they now not only sign experienced, established stars but also focus on young, focused talents around the world.
Los Blancos' scouts have been spot on with some of their recent signings, as players like Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, and Federico Valverde have now become integral to the club's plans since coming into the side as teenagers.

Whereas more recent signings like Arda Guler, Dean Huijsen, Eduardo Camavinga, and Aurelien Tchouameni remain a work in progress, there have also been some highly rated youngsters who have failed to live up to the expectations of the Bernabeu and cracked under pressure.

Regardless of these facts, Los Merengues are highly committed to their recent transfer policy, as they remain on the lookout for youngsters with a knack for excellence, and over the past couple of years, VfB Stuttgart's Angelo Stiller has been under Real Madrid's radar.

Los Blancos looked like the favorites to sign Stiller during the last summer, but things didn't pan out as expected, although this time around, as Stuttgart is expecting more pressure to mount on them, and as a result, has seemingly set a high asking price for the German midfielder.

According to Sport Bild (h/t GOAL), the German club has now set an asking price of around €50 million for Stiller as Manchester United and Los Blancos come calling for the highly rated midfielder.

The Whites see Stiller as a probable replacement for Toni Kroos, a player who would provide calmness and control during high-velocity games, as the former number eight did at the Bernabeu before retiring.

The 24-year-old is also a cheaper option than Manchester City's Rodri or Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez, as both players would likely cost Los Blancos around €100 million in the upcoming summer, according to recent rumors.

Stiller's passing accuracy has been one of the key aspects of his game alongside his composure and positioning, and the German international has also provided seven assists in all competitions for his club so far this campaign.

As it stands, Madrid's desire for Stiller would likely depend on how their approach to Rodri and Fernandez fares over the summer, as the Premier League midfielders remain Real's primary targets.
