The midfielder has been one of the key transfer targets for Real Madrid this summer as they learn about his asking price.
After confirming the arrivals of Marc Cucurella, Bernando Silva and Ibrahima Konate, Real Madrid certainly have no intentions to stop their rebuild this summer.
With Jose Mourinho already appointed as their new manager, Los Blancos have certainly hit the transfer window with their full might as they look to get back to winning ways from the word go during the new campaign.
Apparently the Portuguese manager is seemingly in control of the club's transfer market movements, evident by the three official player announcements so far as Denzel Dumfries waits for his move's confrimation.
As per the reports, midfield is one area where the Whites are looking to make further additions during the upcoming months and has reportedly made a list of players who they are keeping a close eye on.
Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi is seemingly on that list following his brilliant start to the World Cup with Morocco.
The 18-year-old had a breakout season with Lille during the previous campaign, as he made 42 appearances for the Ligue 1 side but he was already on the scene during the 2024-25 campaign as Bouaddi played the full 90 minutes against Los Blancos during their 1-0 Champions League victory over the Whites.
Now as the summer transfer window is wide open, Los Merengues has reportedly learned about the probable asking price for the central midfielder this summer.
According to Mundo Deportivo (h/t Madrid Universal), Bouaddi could cost the Whites somewhere around €40 million this summer and it could increase with every brilliant display from the Moroccan international during the ongoing World Cup.
Certainly feels like a humungous ask for a teenager but Bouaddi is not just any teenager as we already know, top European clubs like Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germnain, Barcelona and Bayern Munich have reportedly shown interest in the highly rated midfielder.
Los Blancos are also exploring other options but a central midfielder could just be the need of the hour for the Whites as the reports suggests one of Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga could be looking for an exit during the upcoming months.
The teenager has certainly proved his worth both at the club level and also at the international level during Morocco's first two games against Brazil and Scotland respectively as they sit second in the league table with four points in two games.
Bouaddi has seemingly got all the qualities to flourish as an excellent central midfielder in the coming years, with his calmness and composure on the ball, the way he reads the game and makes important interceptions and adding to all of that with his brilliant passing, the teenager has seemingly got all the tools to succeed at a club like Real Madrid.
Now, it is up to the Whites on whether they can rope in one of the most highly sought-after midfielders this summer and secure their midfield for years to come.
