Emmanuel Petit says he would love Real Madrid loanee Endrick to join Arsenal. The World Cup winner calls the forward a 'diamond.'
With the season about to come to an end, many are preparing to experience the World Cup, which starts in less than 50 days, and with the FIFA tournament taking place in the United States, Mexico, and Canada, Emmanuel Petit has analyzed the chances that Real Madrid loanee Endrick has of attending the next World Cup with the Brazilian national team.
The former French footballer has praised the potential of the Real Madrid forward, who is currently on loan at Olympique Lyonnais.
"He is very young, only 19 years old. He has a lot of talent, he is like a runaway horse with a lot of energy... He just needs the right environment to polish himself, because he is a diamond. Which club would suit him? Given his qualities, I would love for him to come to Arsenal," said the world champion for Andy's BetClub.
"On the field, sometimes, he is a bit too selfish. However, he knows he has enormous qualities," Petit added about Endrick, 19.
"He can shine at the World Cup, but Brazil is no longer the same team; they no longer play like before. Three weeks ago, I saw the match against France in the United States, and we beat them again," Petit explained, exposing what has happened in the team coached by Carlo Ancelotti.
"I observed the team; of course, some players were missing, but I thought: 'Wow, the Brazilian national team has changed a lot.' I remember so many big names, great players on that team. Endrick has something special. He can stand out at the World Cup; there is a spot for him in the starting lineup," Petit said about the forward, who is considered one of Brazil's most promising young talents and is expected to be one of the differential factors for the 'Canarinha' in the future.
However, the former AS Monaco player also warned about the new variants on the Brazilian team, also acknowledging that Endrick still needs to polish some aspects of his game to fully establish himself.
Real Madrid is closely following Endrick's professional career and is even proud of the loan they secured with Lyon last December.
In these months, the forward has accumulated seven goals and seven assists and has become, since his arrival, one of the great revelations of French soccer, which is why Real Madrid seems to already have a roadmap prepared for the player. Endrick will return to the Bernabeu for the next campaign, reinforcing an attack from which Gonzalo Garcia will leave, according to reports.
