On Tuesday evening, we are here to provide you all with the latest PSG transfer updates, with the likes of Mbaye, Godts and Suzuki all mentioned throughout the article.
Just like that, we are now only slightly further than one week removed from PSG's 26/27 season getting underway with the UEFA Super Cup final against Aston Villa in the Austrian city of Salzburg.
With that in mind, here is your latest transfer updates as the club get very busy ahead of the curtain raiser with the Premier League side.
To kick things off, let's start with the latest on transfer target Mika Godts of AFC Ajax. Earlier on today, it was reported that the Dutch giants had turned down PSG's bid of 40 million Euros plus another five million in add ons.
The latest news on that, as per Sacha Tavolieri, is that Ajax want 65 million Euros - with at least 15m of those guaranteed, and 15m in add ons. The player himself is said to be pushing Ajax to agree a deal - personal terms are known to already be sorted on his side.
Meanwhile, reports out of Italy from Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto have this evening (Tuesday the 4th of August 2026), reported that PSG's 33 million Euros package bid for Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki has been rejected. Talks are ongoing as the club prepare an improved bid, but they do not plan on going as far as 45/50 million Euros.
They also mention that Juventus are talking with PSG about loaning Suzuki for a year, if a deal happens. So that in itself is one to keep a close eye on.
To finish things off with the biggest surprise, and the only one of the three reports not to have been mentioned (several times) before, as French journalist Fabrice Hawkins states that Premier League side Liverpool are pushing to sign winger Ibrahim Mbaye.
He says that the teenager is keen on the move to Merseyside, as they look to strengthen their right hand side this summer. Talks are expected to begin soon after Mbaye gave the deal the go ahead.
Well, interesting. Hawkins mentions the interest in Barcola too, and with a report from Monday saying that Liverpool are also interested in Ilya Zabarnyi - and not for the first time this window - we could see Andoni Iraola's side make a move for as many as three different PSG players this summer. Absolutely crazy.
