UEFA gives PSG less than a third of the stadium capacity for the Budapest final. Getting a ticket will be tougher than last year for Parisian supporters.

After its draw in Munich against Bayern (1-1), Paris Saint-Germain qualified for its second consecutive Champions League final. But for the occasion, UEFA granted the defending champion less than a third of the stadium's total capacity to Parisian supporters.

This Wednesday night, PSG was clearly playing for its season in Munich. After a historic first leg ending in a 5-4 victory, Luis Enrique's men had to maintain their lead to secure their ticket to the final.

Leading from the 3rd to the 94th minute, PSG settled for a draw and will have the opportunity to achieve a historic back-to-back for French soccer.

The date is already set, as the final will take place on May 30 at Ferenc Puskas Stadium in Budapest. While ticket sales are scheduled to open this Friday, May 8, Parisian supporters now know how many tickets have been allocated to them this year.

As explained by ICI Ile-de-France, UEFA decided to allocate 17,200 tickets to PSG for the Champions League final against Arsenal. Last season, the Parisian club distributed 18,000 tickets to its supporters, but the difference is explained by the smaller capacity of the stadium chosen for this season's final. For Parisian supporters, getting a ticket will therefore be even more complicated than last year.

As for the final won in Munich last season, PSG wants to reward its most loyal supporters among its 36,000 season ticket holders. Some will receive a ticket offer in the supporters' section this Friday.

To be eligible, one must be considered by the club as a historic season ticket holder, have been assiduous during the season, and have made several away trips. For the lucky ones, the ticket will cost 70 euros, compared to a minimum of 180 euros via UEFA's ticket office.
