Player Ratings: Bournemouth’s Losing-Leads Pattern Continues vs Brentford

After a stunning display in his last home game against Everton, the Serbian will be disappointed that his costly error led to Brentford's second. The keepers poor pass out allowed Kevin Schade to score his and Brentford's second goal of the afternoon. A game to forget for the Cherries number one. 4/10

A decent enough performance from the Cherries skipper who continues to dig deep to remain the club's first choice right back. 7/10

Solid showing from Hill who's fast becoming a real consistent performer at the heart of an improving Bournemouth defensive unit. 7/10

Another classy performance from Cherries' big summer signing. Antonio played a key role in Bournemouth's second goal and showed off his wonderful passing range throughout.  8/10

An uncharacteristically disappointing display from the normally reliable Frenchman. Adrien was at fault for Brentford's opener and then showed some poor decision making in the final third. One to forget for Truffert. 4/10

Always trying to make something happen, but Alex was less influential than he has been so far this campaign. The highly rated midfielder missed a glorious opportunity in front of goal and was left frustrated at moments just not quite coming off for him. 7/10

Bournemouth's midfield enforcer conducted his role well as he so often does, allowing the likes of Scott to advance. Looks to be getting that sharpness back following the World Cup. 7/10

Tavernier continues to add numbers to his impressive performances with another goal for the Cherries. His strike gave Bournemouth an early second half lead and the impact he's currently having is making him one the club's most vital players. 8/10

Following another call up to the Brazil national team, Rayan started the game in energetic fashion. The Brazilian showed his pace and power in the early stages but then sadly drifted out of the game. He probably missed Bournemouth's clearest opening when he smashed over the bar from close range. 6/10

A somewhat improved performance from Justin who's still searching for that red hot form that the Cherries fans know he has in him. The Dutch attackers first half strike could well be the springboard for him to now kick on. 7/10

Evanilson continues to lead the line impeccably for the Cherries and despite still awaiting that first goal, he was crucial in both Bournemouth's strikes. Scrapping hard for the opener and then holding up and laying off to Tavernier for the second, the Brazilian remains integral to Bournemouth's offensive patterns. 8/10

Despite his hat trick in the week against Lincoln, Ryan Christie had to settle for being the Cherries first used substitute. The Scottish midfielder was lively when introduced but failed to have that key impact this time around. The remaining subs once again felt too late on, with all four having very little time to impress. Lewis Cook as fine and Ben Gannon-Doak certainly showed some promising glimpses, whereas both David Brooks and Alvaro Rodriguez really struggled.
