Bournemouth made history on Tuesday night, with their impressive 1-1 draw with Man City earning them European football for the first time. In doing do the Cherries also extending their Premier League unbeaten run to 17 matches, quite the feat.
Djordje Petrovic
The Cherries stopper was minutes away from claiming his twelfth clean sheet of the campaign, only for Haaland strike late on. But once again it was a steady and composed display from Bournemouth's man between the sticks, with a standout low save early in the second half the highlight. 8/10
Adam Smith
Club legend Adam Smith grabs the player of the match award for me, rolling back the years once more to expertly mark City's wing wizard Doku throughout the game. He's been chucked back into the eleven at a pivotal time of the season and shown his quality and true professionalism to help Bournemouth get over the line, truly outstanding stuff. Smith himself, has revealed how proud he is at qualification for Europe. 10/10
James Hill
Hill stood up to the task of dealing with the leagues top striker in a typically assured fashion. His desire and will was on show for the entirety, quickly becoming one of Bournemouth's most consistent performers. 8/10
Marcos Senesi
A fittingly flawless performance from the Cherries Argentine gladiator, one that was most certainly in is final home game for the club. Following his top display he was announced as the 'Players Player' for the season, an award he's more than earned with his consistent levels this campaign. 9/10
Adrien Truffert
Adrien had the difficult challenge of dealing with ex cherry Antoine Semenyo on the night, and he more than rose to said challenge. Another wonderful display has left many calling the Frenchman one of the Premier Leagues stand out left backs for the season, and there won't be many going against such a claim. 9/10
Alex Scott
Up against some of the leagues elite central midfielders, Alex stood up and showed himself to be just as elite. Always making the right decision with the ball and as tenacious as ever off it, Scott is understandably brimming with confidence right now. Whether its this summer or not, Alex will be shining on every stage with his nation before long, no doubt about it. 9/10
Tyler Adams
Coming into the side following Ryan Christie's suspension, Tyler didn't disappoint with a monster of a performance. The American star may not always get the plaudits but Cherries fans know of his importance to the team, doing the dirty work perfectly. 8/10
Rayan
It has been quite the week for Rayan following his call up to the Brazil side for this summers World Cup, he's certainly enjoying himself right now. A menace and constant threat, Rayan was unfortunate to see his biggest chance rebound off the post in the second half. 8/10
Marcus Tavernier
Mr Consistent was at it again with his non stop running and intelligence both with and without the ball. Involved in everything good going forward for the Cherries all night long. 8/10
Eli Kroupi
Wow, the Cherries really have something special in this lad. Took his goal expertly and caused City's defenders problems from the get go, starting to look more complete with every game. 9/10
Evanilson
Evanilson certainly didn't let his early miss affect his game, the Brazilian was relentless in his work all night long. A goal was the only thing missing from what was a near perfect way to lead the line. 9/10
