Liverpool Football Club have officially announced a new partnership with Turkish Airlines, which will see them receive around £300 million across 5 years. Turkish Airlines will replace Standard Chartered as the main sponsor on all Liverpool shirts from the 2027/28 season.

The club’s partnership with Standard Chartered has lasted for 17 years. Now, the Reds have taken the chance to create a new partnership.
Who is Liverpool’s new shirt sponsor?
Liverpool officially announced that they would be partnering with Turkish Airlines. This will appear on all of the men’s, women’s, and academy player shirts from the 2027/28 season.

Turkish Airlines CEO, Ahmet Olmustur, has also shared his excitement for this partnership. He highlights the heritage and size of Liverpool, making him pleased that an agreement was reached.

How much are Liverpool gaining?
Reported by Times journalist Paul Joyce, it is suggested that this Front of Shirt deal will be worth more than £300 million over five years. Joyce also reports that the club believes this is the most ‘lucrative’ FoS deal in Premier League history.
In Liverpool’s previous partnership with Standard Chartered, the club was gaining around £50 million annually. This new deal looks to be over £60 million.
With Liverpool’s recent 30% minority sale to a consortium led by Amit Bhatia, it’s clear the club are actively attempting to expand their revenues. This new deal absolutely allows for that to happen.
What this means for Standard Chartered
Standard Chartered have appeared on the club’s shirts since 2010. A time when figures like Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez were at the club.
Since then, the club has become incredibly successful and created history. Standard Chartered can feel proud in being the club’s main sponsor as they lifted their first-ever Premier League title.
From Roy Hodgson to Jurgen Klopp and now one last season under Andoni Iraola, the memories that Liverpool fans will associate with Standard Chartered are incredible.
