Celtic have dropped a hint regarding an upcoming announcement that the club's supporters will love.

With the Rangers losing at the weekend, the Scottish Premiership title race might be a two-horse race now. Celtic and Hearts are the two teams still in it. As for the Ibrox side, it is safe to say that they will now try to prevent the Hoops from winning a fifth straight league when the two teams meet in the upcoming Glasgow Derby.

It is up to Celtic to go on and win all three league games remaining and then hope for the rest. This has been the tightest title race in Scottish football in decades. But if the Hoops come out on top, it would be a very familiar ending.

Credit where it is due, Hearts have done a tremendous job in leading this race for so long when most people had expected them to drop off at some point in the middle, like Aberdeen did last time around.

Of course, we are heading towards the end of the season as well. And that means new jerseys are going to be launched very soon.

Next season is going to be the 60th anniversary of Celtic's famous European Cup win of 1967. And if the latest hint is anything to go by, a kit is set to be coming out celebrating that iconic achievement from the Lisbon Lions.

Celtic have put out a short video teaser on their social media, and it has gotten fans talking.

The video seems to show what appears to be the next home jersey with a special 60th anniversary crest.

So, one would guess that it is going to be a retro-looking kit in celebration of that achievement in the heat of Lisbon six decades back.

Celtic were the first British team to reach the top of European football when they won the Cup in 1967. That is an achievement that will remain special to every fan, whether they witnessed that victory or not.

Obviously, the focus has to be on the here and now. Celtic still have a lot to play for this season and make history of their own.

If the club are able to win this league title race, this will go down as a 'miracle' title and one of Michael O'Neill's greatest achievements in Glasgow. Celtic have had three different managers this season, with one of them lasting just a month in the job, have seen key players miss months of action and are still in contention for a double. Let's not forget, this comes in a season when the Rangers have invested £40 million into their squad.
