Celtic fans are not happy with one selection decision from Martin O'Neill for the game against Hibernian.

It would be safe to say that Martin O'Neill is not working with a lot when it comes to this Celtic squad. Brendan Rodgers struggled with it badly before deciding to quit. And we all know how things turned out for Wilfried Nancy, who lost six of his eight games in charge of the Hoops.

So, to be fair to O'Neill, he has gotten more out of this team than most would have. That being said, with just four league games left this season, the fans will be demanding the full twelve points and a fifth-straight Premiership crown. Anything less than that might be viewed as a failure.

Celtic will take on Hibernian today. Hibs have already beaten the Hoops this season. So, this promises to be a tough contest and O'Neill's side will bring their A-game to Easter Road to get all three points away from home, which is what they need.

Celtic's team for the game has now been announced and it is not one that everything agrees with.

Alistair Johnston starting has come as a welcome surprise. But one would be hoping that the club have not rushed him back, as they did the last time around. The last thing that the Canadian international needs right now is to pick up another injury.

The decision that has gotten Celtic fans talking though is the one to start with Sebastian Tounekti.

Tounekti had started brilliantly in Celtic colours but has faded over the course of the season, and has lost the trust of the fans as a result.

One Celtic fan wrote: "Tounekti useless but good XI outwith."

Another said: "Tounekti owes us a performance, just do something........anything."

It remains to be seen if Tounekti is able to prove the supporters wrong and produce a good performance today.

If he does not, it is very likely that Celtic will bring on James Forrest to take his place, or sub in Kelechi Iheanacho to play as the striker while Daizen Maeda moves to the left.

At the end of the day, it is good to have these options. Celtic did not have them even a few weeks back.

Fortunately, Maeda has rediscovered his form while Iheanacho proved with his brace off the bench that he can still impact games, even though question marks remain over his fitness.

At this point, this might very well be a strategic move on the part of O'Neill, so the Nigerian international can come on and take advantage of tired legs instead of starting games.
