The Scottish FA have made an official announcement regarding the upcoming game between Celtic and Rangers.
The Glasgow Derby is around the corner. Both Celtic and the Rangers will be heading into this one with an intention of picking up maximum points but for different reasons.
For Celtic, the title race is still very much on and they would like to win all three of their remaining games in the league. With Hearts having a goal difference, not everything is in the hands of Martin O'Neill's side. But they need to make the most of what they can control.
On the other hand, the Rangers' title challenge is as good as over after they lost at the hands of Hearts recently. But that should not stop them from trying to prevent their Glasgow rivals from winning a fifth-straight league title.
Worrying for Celtic will be their recent record when it comes to the Glasgow Derby. They have won one, within 90 minutes, in their last nine attempts.
That will need to change tomorrow if they want to pick up all three points and continue to remain within touching distance of Hearts.
Amid all this, the Scottish FA have announced the officials for the Glasgow Derby. Nick Walsh will be the referee on the day. He will be assisted by Frank Connor and Daniel McFarlane.
Of course, there has been some controversy regarding VAR when it comes to Celtic games recently. It was confirmed earlier that they had got a call wrong in the previous game against Hibernian and that the Hoops should have been given a penalty when he went down in the second half.
Celtic will be hoping there is no such controversy tomorrow. John Beaton will be the one on VAR duty alongside Chris Graham.
Obviously, there is not much that needs to be said regarding Celtic, Rangers and Beaton. Let's just hope that it is a game without any match-defining refereeing decision.
Celtic will need to put their best foot forward against the Rangers and get a result. They cannot look as toothless as they have in several of their recent games. But at the same time, their defence needs to be much stronger as well.
Celtic might have won when they met in the Scottish Cup game at Ibrox earlier this year. But that performance was nowhere near the mark and won't get them three points in the league.
Hopefully, the recent upturn in Daizen Maeda's form, the return of players like Arne Engels and Alistair Johnston, and Kelechi Iheanacho's ability to make a difference off the bench proves to be enough to see them through.
