A move to Sevilla could be on the cards for the Celtic player, whose future at Parkhead is uncertain right now.

There are quite a few Celtic players who could be heading for the exit door this summer. Some of them have not gotten enough playing time and do not look like a part of the first-team plans. Others have not impressed despite getting chances. There are several loanees who are not making enough of an impact to even consider signing them permanently. And then are some out on loan, who might end up leaving permanently.

The Celtic squad is expected to look very different come next season. And there is some uncertainty around the future of a winger, who has actually had a pretty decent campaign out on loan.

Luis Palma grabbed the headlines recently by coming off the bench to score and assist, earning Loch Poznan, where he is currently on loan, a 3-3 draw.

There is an option to buy in Palma's loan deal at Lech Poznan. But there is uncertainty whether they will trigger that or not, considering it would be a record transfer fee for the Polish club.

If they do not, Celtic have been urged by many to bring him back. It feels like Palma is better than the majority of the wingers available to Martin O'Neill at the moment. But on the other hand, there is interest in him from La Liga as well.

According to reports in Spain (via Daily Record), Palma is on Sevilla’s radar. The La Liga club are weighing up a move either on loan or on a permanent basis.

Traditionally, Sevilla are one of the biggest clubs in Spanish football. But they have been going through some tough times lately. As things stand, they are just two points above the relegation zone.

So, any potential move for Palma might end up depending on how and where they end this season.

As for Palma, bringing him back to Celtic might not be the worst idea in the world either. He had actually made a brilliant start to life in Glasgow after being signed from Aris FC.

But he would lose his form over the course of his debut campaign. And once he got out of the starting XI, he never found a way back under Brendan Rodgers.

Rodgers is no longer the manager of Celtic though. O'Neill will step down in the summer. And whoever the next one is might be able to fit Palma into his plans. So, you never know what the future holds.
