The Celtic hero could not help but audibly laugh at Kris Boyd's rant about the Rangers live on air.
Celtic managed to do something on Sunday that they have not in the previous nine Glasgow Derbies, that is, win inside 90 minutes. And not only did they do it, but they did in style, with Daizen Maeda's overhead kick the cherry on top of the cake.
With Hearts drawing this weekend, it means that there is just one point between those two teams. In the grand scheme of things, it does not change much for Celtic. The equation remains the same. Win the remaining games in the league, and the title is secure.
On the other hand, after spending around £40 million on improving their squad, the Rangers have managed to finish trophyless once again.
At this point, they might be wondering what more they can do. The loss against Celtic was their third on the trot since the post-split fixtures started. And if they had been hoping to prevent their Glasgow rivals from winning the title, they did not do a great job of it either.
Yes, the Rangers did take the early lead on the day. But after that, it was pretty much all Celtic.
Kris Boyd was not particularly happy with the result, and understandably so. The Rangers hero said while criticising his former team on Sky Sports for the first goal they conceded on the day: "There are so many things wrong with that goal from a Rangers point of view."
That brought out an audible laugh from Neil Lennon, who was also in the studio, live on air.
Obviously, Boyd has been a constant presence in the Scottish media when it comes to everything Rangers.
On the other hand, Lennon remains in management. In fact, his Dunfermline Athletic side are set to take on Celtic in the Scottish Cup final in what is most likely going to be Martin O'Neill's last game as a manager. But before that, they have a lot to play for in league competition.
Things are not going to get any easier for Celtic from here. Their next game is an away trip to take on Motherwell, who have arguably been the best team in Scotland this season, in terms of quality.
When Celtic beat them earlier, it was only after they went down to ten men. So, the Hoops cannot make the mistake of taking the test lightly, just because they have won the Glasgow Derby.
It is one step at a time for O'Neill's side. And then, they can see where they stand at the end of the season.
