Los Angeles Dodgers' prospects Josue De Paula, Zyhir Hope and Mike Sirota all homered as Double-A Tulsa rolled to a 14-7 victory
The Los Angeles Dodgers' top prospects once again demonstrated why their farm system is considered one of the best in baseball.
Josue De Paula, Zyhir Hope and Mike Sirota each homered Friday night, powering Double-A Tulsa to a convincing 14-7 victory. The offensive outburst helped the Drillers improve to 65-35 on the season, continuing an impressive campaign that has positioned them among the top clubs in the Texas League.
With three of the organization's premier prospects anchoring the lineup, Tulsa has consistently generated offense throughout the season, and Friday's performance was another example of the group's impact.
Hope continues breakout campaign
Hope turned in one of his best performances of the year, collecting three hits while launching a pair of home runs.
The Dodgers' No. 5 prospect wasted little time making an impact, opening the scoring with a two-run homer in the first inning before adding a solo blast later in the game. The multi-homer effort pushed his RBI total to 87, the highest mark in Double-A this season.
Beyond the power production, Hope has continued to establish himself as one of the organization's fastest-rising prospects. His combination of run production and consistent contact has made him one of the Texas League's most dangerous hitters.
De Paula keeps producing
De Paula also enjoyed another productive night, finishing with three hits while connecting on his 17th home run of the season.
The Dodgers' top-ranked prospect has put together an outstanding all-around campaign, pairing his power with advanced plate discipline. His .409 on-base percentage leads the Texas League, while his balanced offensive profile has helped him emerge as one of the premier hitters at the Double-A level.
In addition to his success at the plate, De Paula has remained a threat on the bases, continuing to showcase the athleticism that has elevated his prospect status.
Sirota thriving after promotion
Since earning a promotion from High-A Great Lakes in May, Sirota has shown he belongs at the next level.
The Dodgers' No. 2 prospect added his own home run during the seventh inning and has continued to produce at an impressive rate for Tulsa. Through 53 Double-A games, he has posted a .327 batting average with a 1.021 OPS, giving the Drillers another dangerous middle-of-the-order bat.
As the Major League Baseball Trade Deadline approaches, all three prospects remain among the most valuable young players in the Dodgers' system. Whether they finish the season together in Tulsa or become part of larger roster decisions, De Paula, Hope and Sirota continue to prove why they are regarded as key pieces of the organization's future.
