Loving this White Sox trend

With today’s hire of Matt Roffe from the Milwaukee Brewers to oversee White Sox drafts moving forward, there’s a really encouraging trend from Chris Getz that I think is worth pointing out.

The organization has made a habit out of internal promotion for positions like this in the past. But from the moment he took over as GM, Getz has cast a wide net and brought in people from outside the organization.

Bringing in respected minds from organizations like the Brewers and Rays is only going to be beneficial to the White Sox long term.
