Jacob Gonzalez is officially HOT

Things were looking pretty rough for White Sox infielder Jacob Gonzalez when he went 0-for-25 from June 10 to June 22. But over the last five games he's played, he is 8-for-19 at the plate with two doubles, one home run, nine RBIs, and an OPS of 1.160.

He's now brought up his OPS for the season to .678 and is looking like a regular contributor for the White Sox. He may even have a role on this team once Munetaka Murakami comes back if he continues to hit.

Having Gonzalez hot at the plate has been such a huge lift for the White Sox offense. Hopefully he continues it this week with more big games coming against the Orioles and Guardians.
